Privacy Policy and Patient Confidentiality

In order to serve you, our patients and clients properly we need to collect an adequate amount of information. This information includes dental and medical information. We also need to collect a minimum level of contact and personal information to ensure positive identification and continuity of care. In certain instances corporate and financial information is also needed (in particular where third party payment or subsidy arrangements are in place)

We use the information you provide us to:
Understand your oral health condition and other factors that might influence your health  condition
Provide the service you require or advise you on your oral health condition and relevant services which may be of interest and helpful to you.
Facilitate provision of service by specific third parties (eg CPF Board for Medisave payments)


We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of medical and personal information entrusted to us in the context of our professional relationship with you. 

We will NOT under any circumstances sell or share your information with a third party for the purposes of marketing, 

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of our organization unless one of the following circumstances apply:

(1) With your consent. 

In this regard it is very important that you give us your expressed consent preferably in writing if you need us to disclose information to a third party (such as your insurer). This consent should be sent to us independently in a verifiable form. We will not be able to accept representations from a third party about your consent.
We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals only when we have your consent to do so. 


(2) For external processing
To the extent necessary we do provide personal information to trusted service providers to process and store for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. 


(3) For legal reasons
We will share personal information with regulatory and governmental organizations if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request (example compulsory notifications under the infectious diseases Act 1976) (find out more)


In undertaking the above, transmission of data is necessary. While we have taken steps to check and ensure the security of the data, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is ever completely and absolutely secure.


Your personal data is also protected under the provisions of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act (PHMC) and follow-on Health Care Services Act (HCSA) as well as the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2012 enforced by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC)
